Target Audience- middle and high school educators serving as new AVID Elective teachers Learning Intentions- we are learning AVID Elective resources such as the AVID Weeks at a Glance curriculum (including tutorials) and research-based Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR®) strategies in order to equip students with the college and career readiness essential skills for success. Success Criteria- Participants can: (1) access the AVID Curriculum, (2) successfully indentify each of the 10-step tutorial process and create a system to provide feedback to tutors, student presenter, and group members, (3) can incorporate AVID core strategies making up WICOR into a typical weekly lesson plan
